The house of representative majority leader, Alhassan Doguwa, has been sacked by the court of appeal sitting in Kaduna.
Recall that Doguwa’s victory was challenged by Yasha’u Salisu a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, on basis that the election was marred by irregularities.
After much ruling by the court, The tribunal upheld Doguwa’s victory trashing Salisu’s petition.
However, an appeal court sitting in Kaduna nullified the result on monday, after it has judiciously tried the petition and finding out that the election was indeed marred with irregularities.
The court then ordered that a fresh election be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, within 90 days.
